Solar System Observing

I spend a fair amount of my observing time on the Solar System objects, primarily the Sun, and Jupiter.  Mars was always a favorite target too but I'm waiting for the next apparition in 2001 to begin imaging the red planet.  Saturn is a delight with its rings but I don't spend too much time on it since it doesn't change much.   The Moon is an occasional target and photo-op.  From my spot Venus and Mercury are almost impossible to see which is a drag and though I've seen Neptune and Uranus they just aren't too exciting in a small scope.  Check out any of the following sections:

Solar Observing - photos of sunspot activities, usually in series of multiple days so you can see the progression of the spots. Jupiter - CCD images, drawings, and tips on observing.
Lunar Observing - photos and CCD imaging, lunar eclipses, etc.. Saturn - CCD images, drawings, and tips on observing.
Mars - coming soon... Venus - CCD imaging
