Here is a journal of some of the road-trips we've taken with the Eurovan:
- Central Oregon - May 24-27, 2001 - Three days of camping along the
Fall River, hiking in the Newberry Crater Natl. Monument, hiking the Pacific
Crest Trail in Deschutes Natl. Forest, and at Smith Rock State Park.
- Southwest Utah - June 22-30, 2001
- Nine days touring Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Capitol Reef National Parks
as well as several National Monuments.
- Olympic Natl. Park - July 6-8, 2001 - Quick three day trip camping
at Sequim Bay and hiking the Dungeness Spit and around Hurricane
Ridge.
- Lochsa/Bitterroot Valleys - August 2002 - This was a week long trip
through Idaho and Montana with lots of hiking and fly fishing plus many moose
encounters.
- Potholes Reservoir
- April 2003 - Kayaking in the middle of the Eastern Washington
desert.
- Northern California - June
26-July 5, 2003 - Kayaking, Hiking, and Fly Fishing through the
Cascades and up the coast.
- Mount Rainier - August 2005 -
Driving around the mountain, van camping and doing some great day hikes.
