The last day of the trip was one of mixed emotion, part of us wanted to just stay on the road another day or so and the other part wanted to get home, shower, and sleep in a real bed. We decided to kind of play it by ear and if we were tired we'd camp somewhere on the way home. We took off on Hwy 26 early and headed into Boise where we stopped for coffee and breakfast before hitting the interstate. From there we were on I-84 again and out of Idaho into Oregon. We backtracked the route along 84 to I-82 and finally to I-90. When we hit Washington we knew we'd make it home and drove into Ellensburg for dinner before making that last 2 hour drive over the Cascades and into the Puget Sound area.
